Vango Art uses a structured payment and escrow process to provide security and transparency during an acquisition.
Payment at Purchase
When you acquire an artwork, the applicable purchase amount is processed through the Platform’s supported payment system and secured through the escrow process.
The artist’s eligible sale proceeds are not released simply because the order has been placed.
Why Funds Are Held
Funds are held while the artist completes the applicable fulfillment requirements.
Depending on the artwork and fulfillment method, this may include production, preparation, packaging, shipping, and delivery.
This structure helps ensure that the transaction progresses through the required fulfillment stages before eligible proceeds are released.
Delivery Confirmation
Once the artwork has been delivered, the collector confirms receipt through the applicable order process.
The escrow release process then follows the Platform’s applicable fulfillment and release conditions.
If There Is a Problem
If an artwork is damaged, does not correspond to its listing, is not delivered, or another material fulfillment issue occurs, the collector should contact Vango Art Support and use the applicable dispute or resolution process.
Funds remain subject to the Platform’s escrow and dispute procedures while an eligible issue is being addressed.
Artist Payments
After the applicable escrow release conditions are satisfied, eligible sale proceeds are credited to the artist’s Vango Art balance.
Artists can then request a payout using a supported withdrawal method. Applicable payout-processing fees are explained on the Fees & Payouts page.
No Separate Escrow Fee
Vango Art does not charge a separate escrow service fee. Platform commissions and applicable payout-processing fees are disclosed separately.
